Our 4 month Basic Skills Boot Camp is a comprehensive roller derby training course. It is focused on developing skaters to their full potential; regardless of prior skill or experience. Our organization prides itself on providing participants the best possible opportunity to flourish in a safe and positive environment.
- No prior experience is necessary to participate! During boot camp we'll teach proper skating form, agility, game play, strategy and everything in between that will allow you to become a successful and safe skater.
- The boot camp is run by our most experienced coaching and training staff, accompanied by help from the current LRD experienced skaters.
- Flexible attendance option! Although will see more noticeable progress when you attend each session, we understand life happens. That is A-OK - attend when you can.
BOOT CAMP SESSIONS OVERVIEW
In-Person Orientation & Gear Fitting: July 21st, 6-9pm
Make up date for orientation/gear fitting: July 23rd, 7-10pm
First day of boot camp: July 25th 6-8pm

- Sundays 7-9pm & Thursdays 6-8pm
ORIENTATION
In-person: July 21st, 6-9pm - Court One Training Center in East Lansing
COST
$120 due upon registration

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Athletic Apparel (clothes you can sweat in)
- Water Bottle
- A mouth guard (can be purchased at the venue)
- Roller Derby gear (Gear can be purchased ahead of time for best fit, however we do have loaner gear available at NO COST)
