In this half-day workshop, you will make a basic long stitch model with a paper cover. The Long stitch binding technique dates from the 14th century. The sections of the book are sewn directly through the spine of the cover material, with two sections being sewn through each set of holes. The possibilities for variation and elaboration of the basic stitch are limited only to one’s imagination.
