NYU Dentistry Basic Life Support/CPR TrainingAttendees of this CPR/BLS course will become certified and updated on the most current American Heart Association guidelines in CPR and Basic Life Support.
Gain BLS training that reinforces your understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation. Current guidelines on choking and proper systematic approaches to cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest will be discussed.
This blended learning course includes an online portion and a hands-on practice session.
Part 1: Complete the online portion, HeartCode BLS, at the American Heart Association website ($34).

Part 2: Attend the in-person practical CPR course at the College ($75).

At the completion of both courses, participants will receive a two-year American Heart Association certification card and 4 CE credits.
Alumni and their dental teams are welcome to participate.
