This American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) course is built specifically for healthcare and public safety professionals who are expected to respond quickly and correctly during life-threatening emergencies. Whether you are a nurse, physician, EMT, paramedic, or part of a clinical or emergency response team, this course gives you the skills and confidence to act when every second matters.
You’ll train to recognize and respond to:
• Cardiac arrest
• Breathing emergencies
• Airway obstruction and choking
• High-stress, real-world medical emergencies
This course follows the latest international resuscitation science and treatment guidelines, including:
• ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation)
• American Red Cross 2020 Focused Updates
• Current Emergency Cardiovascular Care standards
The result? Training that reflects what you will actually face in hospitals, clinics, ambulances, and emergency settings.
Upon successful completion, you will receive an official American Red Cross BLS digital certification, valid for 2 years and accepted by healthcare employers, hospitals, and regulatory agencies.
