You’ll learn basic soldering techniques, create a bezel setting for a cabochon, and use it to make your own stone-set pendant. It’s a hands-on introduction to a core jewelry-making skill—and you’ll finish with a real piece of jewelry you created yourself.
If you’re wondering whether you can make a bezel fit correctly or successfully set a stone on your first try, this class was designed with new students in mind. Kim will guide you through the process step by step. Experienced students are also welcome to join us for a solid bezel-setting refresher.
Your instructor will be Kim St. Jean, Tucson Jewelry School’s resident artist, who has more than 25 years of experience teaching jewelry making.
