Fronted by the magnetic vocal delivery of Trianna Feruza, they blend deep-pocket sassiness and rich R&B soul for a full-blown, groove-driven live experience.But who the funk is Juan Urteaga?Juan Urteaga is an acclaimed American heavy metal music producer, audio engineer, and musician. Best known as the owner and chief engineer of Trident Recording Studios in California, Urteaga has shaped the sound of legendary thrash and death metal bands for nearly three decades.Before fully committing to the mixing board, he was an active vocalist and musician. He performed in several underground metal acts, including Thanatopsis, Lords of Chaos, and Mudslinger. Most notably, he served as the frontman and vocalist for the prominent American death metal band Vile. He performed lead vocals on their critically acclaimed 2005 album, The New Age of Chaos, before departing the group to focus full-time on studio production. Currently, he is the bass player for Spitworm.In September 1996, Urteaga established Trident Recording Studios, creating a premier hub for heavy music production in the San Francisco Bay Area. Working as a producer, tracking engineer, and mix master, he has amassed credits on numerous records. His studio resume includes credits for work with bands like Testament, Machine Head, Exodus, Heathen, Geoff Tate (former Queensryche singer) and Santa Cruz's own A Band of Orcs.He's chosen Santa Cruz and Shanty Shack Brewing as the place to celebrate his birthday this year, so let's turn out and help him make it a memorable experience!
