Join us for Baseball in the Yard on April 12th! Baseball was a passion of both George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush. George H. W. was captain of the Yale Baseball team where he had the opportunity to meet Babe Ruth. George W.'s hero was Willie Mays, who he got to meet a few times as president. George W. has even been quoted as saying, "I never dreamed of being president. I dreamed of being Willie Mays". In honor of that love for baseball, we are having a our very own baseball event! There will be games, maybe a little actual baseball (don't be breaking any windows now ;) ), a chance to design your own baseball button/pin, a chance to enter a raffle to win a baseball signed by the Rockhounds and one signed by the Texas Rangers, and a chance to meet the Rockhounds mascot right at the end of the event at around 3pm! The mascot will also be doing the raffle, so stick around until the end or come back later if you want to know if you won the each of the signed baseballs! If that doesn't sound like a great time, we don't know what does! And we'd love it if you'd join us for this great time! Saturday, April 12th, from 10am to 3pm.
