Bart Vargas: Mandalas

Like artifacts from an era of extraordinary consumption and waste, Bellevue, Nebraska artist and educator Bart Vargas’ sculpture and paintings incorporate recovered local materials deemed unwanted or useless, including trash, recyclables and surplus items and then transform them into playful, approachable and thought-provoking objects.
