The Barstow School Class of 1976: 50th Reunion Weekend!

Can you believe it’s been 50 years since we walked out of Barstow and into the world?

For some of us, our story goes all the way back to kindergarten. We might not have a graduating class that fills a stadium, but what we lack in sheer numbers, we more than make up for in history, deep laughs, and a bond that half a century hasn't broken.

Whether you were a quiet observer, a class leader, or somewhere in between in 1976, this weekend is for all of us to get together, dust off the memories, and celebrate a lifelong connection.

Here is the game plan for our landmark weekend:

🗓️ The Reunion Lineup
Friday Night: The Warm-Up

• Where: The Home of Kent Sunderland
• The Vibe: Casual, cozy, with time to catch up. Skip the formalities—let's catch up over good drinks and great conversation to kick off the weekend right.

Saturday: The Grand Return & The Mega-Party

• Daytime: Lunch & Tour at Barstow. Come see how our old stomping grounds have changed (and find out if any of our old secrets are still hidden in the hallways!).
• Saturday Night: The Main Event w/ Special Guests!
• On Saturday night, we are officially opening the doors and inviting the classes before us and after us to join the party. It’s a multi-class Barstow family gathering, so expect twice the memories, twice the music, and an unforgettable night.

Sunday: The Wind-Down Brunch

• Where: Rozelle Court at the Nelson-Atkins Museum
• The Vibe: A beautiful, classic Kansas City finale. Swap your favorite stories from the weekend over a spectacular brunch in one of the city's most iconic spaces.

Because we are coordinating multiple venues (and welcoming our fellow Barstow alumni on Saturday night!), RSVPs are essential.
