Barrel Fest 2024

Barrel Fest 2024 picks up where last year's festival left off, celebrating beer and cider made in wood. Blind Enthusiasm Brewing Company invited a number of friends from across Canada to share their barrel-aged and barrel-fermented beers right here in Edmonton. The breweries and cideries that are making the pilgrimage to Happy Beer Street all devote significant production effort to barrel-aging and barrel-fermenting, and every beer in the festival will have to spend some time in wood!

Join us for a barrel o' fun at Ritchie Park, next to the Ritchie Community League. Enjoy unique beers from across Canada, poured by the brewers that made them. Tickets include a commemorative Barrel Fest glass. 100ml pours will be available for $4, with service running from 1:00–6:00pm.

Three of last years headliners will be back for this year's festival. 2 Crows Brewing Co hails from the opposite side of our vast country in Nova Scotia! Nokomis is rolling in on a barrel from Saskatchewan, while Low Life plies their trade in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Others are returning from our fine province, a hub of Canadian brewing excellence.

We will announce the new breweries that will be attending Barrel Fest 2024 in the coming weeks!

The holder of a ticket (“Holder”) is admitted to the “Event” on condition that they, by use of this ticket agree to the following:

• Tickets are non-refundable
• Tickets are transferrable
• This event is 18 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 18 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund.
• Alcohol cannot be brought into the venue. Alcohol purchased inside the venue must be consumed within the festival gates.
• Agrees that filming and photos of the event may be used for promotional purposes, without compensation to the ticket holder.

Ticket is invalid if the wristband is removed, or tampered with.

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. Unless explicitly named as such, tickets are sold for the festival date. Tickets will not be refunded in case of inclement weather. Lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged tickets (in wristband or voucher form) will not be refunded or honoured in any way. Issuer reserves the right to deny or limit replacements and/or charge a fee for this service.

If the event is cancelled in full, the Holder will be entitled to a refund in full of their purchase.

THE HOLDER OF A TICKET VOLUNTARILY ACKNOWLEDGES AND ASSUMES ALL RISKS RELATED IN ANY WAY TO THE EVENT (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, RISKS OF PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY LOSS AND/OR DAMAGE) ARISING OR RESULTING FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, BY VENDORS, SPECTATORS, OBJECTS AND OTHER INHERENT RISKS INCIDENTAL TO THE EVENT AND NEGLIGENCE) AND WHETHER OCCURRING PRIOR TO, DURING, OR AFTER THE EVENT.

Holder agrees that the Issuer, the Venue and each of their affiliates, parents, related entities, owners, governors, officers, directors, partners, partnerships, sponsors, principals, employees, volunteers, and agents are expressly released and forever discharged by Holder from any and all claims arising from and related to such risks or otherwise occurring at or in connection with the Event. Holder agrees to comply with the Issuer’s policies.

HOUSE POLICIES

(Alcohol Sale, Service & Consumption along with Overall Festival Behaviour)

All patrons who wish to purchase, consume or hold alcohol must be at least 18 years of age and must have valid, one-piece, government-issued, photo identification;

P ets are not permitted at Barrel Fest. We'd love to have dogs, but since we are serving food, our license does not allow us to permit entry to pets.

Individuals demonstrating signs of intoxication will not be allowed to enter or will be refused service and ejected from the establishment. Anyone ejected will have their wristband cut

Staff and management reserve the right to inspect personal effects at any time;

Smoking onsite is prohibited and can be cause for ejection;

The following behaviours are grounds for ejection:

• Rowdiness, violent or aggressive behaviour
• Use or possession of illegal narcotics
• Vandalism or theft
• Showing signs of intoxication
• Engaging in conduct that may cause harm to yourself or others
• Non-compliance with a staff request
• Disobeying any house policy;

No refunds or exchanges of any kind will occur if a patron is ejected based on an action above.
