Year after year, Midwest Animal Resq, a 501(c)(3) organization, strives to serve as many companion animals in the community as possible. Midwest Animal Resq helps animals who are abandoned, living in hoarding conditions, are at risk of being euthanized in city and rural shelters, puppy mill survivors, are impounded in the City of Raytown, and those who come from many other situations. Because of our generous donors, each year more and more animals find their way into our care where they receive the warmth and love needed to help find and prepare them for their forever families. On October 1, 2022, Midwest Animal Resq will host its second annual BarQfest event at the Rice-Tremonti House in Raytown, MO. The event will run from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will consist of a variety of local vendors (pet and non-pet related), guided children’s activities, food trucks, live music, and a beer garden featuring local breweries and home brewers that will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
