London Fog, Italian SunshineThe 2024 Festival opens with sunshine from the south banishing the northern fog! Join us for concertos and concerti grossi by Italian baroque composers and those London-based musicians who were highly influenced by them. Pre-concert al fresco brass quintet music, and complimentary wine & waters reception on the patio after the performance.
Come for J.C. (“The London”) Bach’s Sinfonia Concertante for violin and cello, and concerti grossi by Corelli, Geminiani, and Avison, and stay for Handel’s delightful chamber organ concerto “The Cuckoo and the Nightingale” (soloist Corey Jamason) and more—performed by the Festival Orchestra led by artistic director Elizabeth Blumenstock.
$50 General Admission
$325 Festival Subscription, includes premium concert seating and a private catered dinner after the Festival Finale on June 23.
