Rhinos Revenge return to Barnoldswick Music & Arts Centre for the 3rd of 3 shows. The welcome return of John 'Rhino' Edwards from Status Quo to Barnoldswick.
Performing an Intimate VIP up close and Personal set Johns Band Rhino's Revenge II, is an energetic and diverse Rock Band. John Says "when you're fortunate enough to be in a band like Quo, you don't get too much spare time!
Having last rocked audiences in Europe during 2023, Rhino's Revenge will hit the road for very limited dates in 2024.
With two albums of original material to its name – and a third currently in the making – Rhino's Revenge brings songs from that repertoire to the stage alongside Quo favourites which Rhino has either written or co-written, some timeless rock classics and an element of the spontaneous unknown. "I do like to surprise myself and everyone else by throwing in a song which we haven't necessarily even rehearsed before, in the heat of the moment," he admits.
Rhino's Revenge is made up from a pool of stellar players, including Craig Joiner from Romeo's Daughter and drummer Leon Cave (his rhythm partner in Status Quo).
So this is a rare chance to see one of the foundation blocks of Britains Best Loved Rock Band.
There's something indefinable but very special about Rhino's Revenge. Something that makes it irresistible. Rhino Edwards, a confessed musicoholic, has created a truly honest band which 'kicks like a mule', a rare commodity in today's world.
