Barn Dance

For this year’s barn dance, Mark and I are inviting you to partner with us on something special, a project that will make a big impact on the Farmhand community and the teachers who make it all possible!
At the inception of the Farmhand program, we had no idea what it would become today. From just a few families to now serving more than 70 families each week, we have been honored to connect our students to the rhythms and cycles of nature through the lens of what it’s like to work the land and care for the farm’s animals.
Whether it’s learning to tell time by the sun’s positioning, learning how to build different types of structures for shelter, tending the garden, or mucking stalls, the children at farmhand know what it’s like to put in the hard work and see their accomplishments in real time.
So what are we asking? We’re asking you to join us in catching the vision and supporting our students by helping us raise funds to pay our teachers.
That’s why at this year’s Barn Dance, 100% of the proceeds (after we pay our Square Dancing Caller) will go directly to paying our hardworking teachers, ambassadors, and staff who invest their hearts and souls into our kids.
✨ What to Expect ✨
Farmhand’s Barn Doors will “swing open” at 6:00pm and we invite you to bring a blanket and a picnic-style meal for your family to enjoy while spending time with other Farmhand families and friends.
We’ll also have a light selection of sweet and salty treats along with water for our guests to enjoy as you dance the night away beginning at 6:30pm with Square Dancing and Line Dancing instruction.
Dancing not your thing? We’ll have games to play, a silent auction for bidding on experience passes and basket items! You’ll also have a chance to purchase Farmhand Merchandise in our “mini market!”

🤠 What to Wear 🤠
Boot, scoot, and boogie to your closet and grab your plaid/flannels, denim, belt buckles, and cowboy hat! Sturdy, flat footwear, close-toed shoes, or cowboy boots are also a good idea for a night of dancing on the barn floor.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 PM!
We’d love for your whole family to join us! Family admission is $40 for up to 4 family members, plus $10 for each additional family member. Bring the grandparents too; family tickets cover immediate and extended family (just not friends or other guests).
