Matt Roux
--------------------
Matt Roux is a seasoned entertainer on the Cape Town scene, having performed the length and breadth of the Western Cape over the past 15 years. He first frequented Barleycorn 33 years ago at the Constantia Nek venue and is a previous winner of the annual Barleycorn songwriter’s competition. He’ll be performing original songs from his album Square One plus some new originals. Previously a Barleycorn Committee member, Matt is passionate about providing stage time for up and coming artists and has put on eight showcases under the brand Open Stage in Table View, hosting more than 35 local artists.

Freewheel

Freewheel is a folk rock quartet from Cape Town that combines covers with elements of R&B. The group consists of Ian Anderson on guitar and vocals, Paul Olsen on percussion, Pierre Stern on bass, and Gavin Marshall on drums. Their performances feature a mix of familiar songs and original compositions, appealing to a wide range of listeners.

The Roundabout Singers

Singing a slightly eclectic mix of songs and Rounds, The Roundabout Singers are a group of people who love singing in harmony, for the joy it brings. Brought together by Julie Blundell they started a few years ago just singing Rounds once a month, in Julie’s living room. This progressed in the last year or two to singing songs with lovely harmonies, accompanied by guitar.
