Stanley Sibande
--------------------
Stanley Sibande is a South Africa based, Zambian born singer songwriter. He began his journey as a musician in his formative years when he would sing along with his sister to music by popular boy bands such as Nsync, Westlife and The Backstreet Boys. After finishing his studies in Zambia, he chose to leave his home Country and come down to South Africa in February of 2019 with nothing but his guitar and a dream to pursue music.
His style is an amalgamation of the somber soundscapes of Indie and rock coupled with the simplistic yet catchy melodic compositions of modern pop and the various African rhythms, melodies and stories he was raised around with influences such as The Weeknd, Seal, Oliver Mutukudzi, Ed Sheeran, W.I.T.C.H, P.K Chishala, Madosini, Novo Amor, e.t.c.
Having Just come off a successful Tour to the UK in 2024 and set to embark on another tour to Germany in August of 2025, Stanley is looking to expand his career and keep on building on the success that embracing his cultural roots has brought him.

Larry Strelitz & Kathleen Eggers
--------------------
Larry Strelitz first started playing at the Barleycorn in the late 1980s. His love of acoustic blues is evident in the music he performs. He works collaboratively with his poet friend Robert Berold and their songs have been performed widely over the years. This performance will focus exclusively on the songs they have writtent together.
Kathleen started learning violin when she was 5 years old. She took part in many eisteddfods in Natal as a child and completed the Trinity College diploma exam in her grade 11 year at school. Kathleen loves orchestral playing and has a BMUS honors degree in Chamber music performance from Stellenbosch University. She has a pgce in creative arts and music and a particular interest in string pedagogy and received cum laude for her research into anatomy and physiology in string playing. She has taught violin and viola at several independent schools in the Western Cape and was a full time teacher at Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre for many years where she was asked to join the team of adjudicators for the Hubert van der Spuy National Music Competition auditions.

Streaky Beats
--------------------
Streaky Beats is a funky 3-piece outfit consisting of Jamie Jupiter on vocals, guitar and harmonica, Malcolm Aberdeen on bass and Bruce Williams on drums. These high calibre musicians enjoy dishing out fun original tunes as well as some down-home covers.
Any Streaky Beats performance is not complete without some cowboy numbers ala Johnny Cash, interspersed with a few funky-off-the-wall originals and good ol’ rock ‘ n roll. Quirky lyrics are the order of the day, mostly written by Jamie Jupiter himself. The punctuating rhythm section of Bruce Williams on drums and Malcolm Aberdeen on the bass guitar never ceases to lure unsuspecting patrons into spontaneous dance action..
Everyone’s a winner when it’s Streaky Beats time!
