Barktoberfest

Barktoberfest is finally here! Join us at Bigelow Brewing Company for a paw-some day filled with wagging tails, cold beers, and furry friends. This in-person event is a dog-friendly celebration that you won't want to miss. Bring your four-legged pals and enjoy a day of fun activities, delicious food, and great company.

There will be vendors, live music, the Caribbean Comfort food truck, games with prizes, a raffle table and Conjuring Carroll will be roaming the crowd that day, spreading magic everywhere!

The fun begins at noon with live music by Michael Desjardins, who is a solo guitarist with an amazing voice!

The big event, the Doggie Costume Contest will begin at 2pm, so make sure you register your pup at the door when you come in!

This year, we have added cash prizes for the top 3 winners and 3 additional categories to win!!!

Prizes:

🥇 1st Place – $100 cash + doggie goodie bag

🥈 2nd Place – $75 cash + doggie goodie bag

🥉 3rd Place – $50 cash + doggie goodie bag

With categories ranging from silly to spooky, there’s a chance for every pup to shine! Don’t miss the fun....your furry friend could walk away with tail wags and treasure, all while helping shelter pets in need.

* While there is a $10 general admission fee per person for the event, there is no fee to enter the costume contest. Just sign up at the door before 2 pm.

After the contest is over, Six Wayz to Sunday will be taking the stage!! They are a high energy party band covering a wide variety of rock, pop, alternative & more!

Admission for this event is $10 per person at the door on the day of the event, or you can purchase your tickets ahead here on Eventbrite.

All funds raised from this event will benefot the animals at the Somerset Humane Society, located right in Skowhegan, ME. The Somerset Humane Society is a no-K*ll shelter that serves over 29 towns in central Maine and takes in close to 800 homeless pets each year.
