Bark Twain Bash...It's the Cats Meow

Kenway's Cause Animal Rescue and The Mark Twain House & Museum have announced the 11th Annual Bark Twain Bash...It's the Cat's Meow joint fundraising event will be held at the museum (351 Farmington Avenue in Hartford, CT) on Saturday, September 12 at 6pm.
This fun, festive and furry evening honors individuals and organizations working in animal rescue, K9 law enforcement, animal control, and animal-related arts and activism. The Bark Twain Bash, co-hosted by WFSB's Renee DiNino (Hello Connecticut) and playwright Jacques Lamarre, features delicious food from sponsor RastaRant, a cash bar, vendors, a silent auction, and many surprises. Additional support for this event is provided by WFSB 3 Cares.
The 2026 Bark Twain Award honorees that will be celebrated on September 12 include:
Veterinarian of the Year: Dr. Anne Marie Nock
Law Enforcement K9 Duo: Officer Aimee Krzykowski and K9 Casner, Berlin Police Department
Arts & Animals Group: Southington Animal Rescue
Volunteer/Support: Debbie Sheridan, UW-AAB - Dog Behavior Consultant
Volunteer/Kennel Support: Becky Conrad, The Simon Foundation
Animal Advocacy Group: The Hometown Foundation
Tickets are $40.00 and are non-refundable. The cost of the ticket supports Kenway's Cause & The Mark Twain House & Museum.
