Introducing Toronto’s first-ever dog-friendly book club! Join Toronto Dog Moms for the inaugural meeting of Barks & Books Club, a cozy book club for dog parents and dog lovers alike.
About this event: Meet new friends, pet some friendly dogs, and dive into lively discussions with fellow book lovers at the Old Flame Brewing Company.

For this first chapter, bring your favourite book (any category – picture book, young adult, nonfiction, contemporary, or classic) and share what you love about it with the group! You may also swap books with fellow members if you’re open to making new connections and discovering a new read!
A fellow book-loving pet parent from the Toronto Dog Moms community will guide discussions, create a warm space for all members (including our furry members), and collect feedback for future Barks & Books Club meetings.
Event Highlights:
Each ticket admits one dog and one person.
Approx. 1-2 hours of guided discussion and free time to socialize.
Bring your own book and share what you love about it.
Connect with fellow members with an optional book swap.
Bring a can of dog food for donation to the Toronto Humane Society.
Admission is free for our first instalment! Dogs are not a requirement but are very much encouraged! Please bring your well-behaved, leashed dogs and cozy up with fellow book lovers at Old Flame Brewery.
