Women’s Day Out is coming back with a splash on the 23rd August 2025 thanks to our major sponsor Barfoot & Thompson.
Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or looking to get into the sport for the first time, or you know a woman who is keen to get into sailing but isn’t sure how - the Women’s Day Out is the event to attend!
We’re bringing together women from all backgrounds and skill levels for a day of celebration, fun and learning on the water (and wrapping up with some awesome guest speakers and a party!)

Hear from Guest Speakers Keryn & Dixie
Keryn McMaster & Karleen “Dixie” Dixon are two of the most respected sailors in New Zealand, and the world! Between them they have competed in Round the World Races, World Championships, National Championships, Club Racing and more - all while juggling life as a mum.
MC’d by Suellen from Live Sail Die, we will hear how these two epic women have found their place in the sailing world.

Got a Boat and want to get involved?
We’re looking for boat owners to provide their keelboat for the day, and to get involved with the event! Every boat owner who volunteers their pride and joy will receive a free ticket to attend the day - including the dinner and after party!
Our fleet of Emirates Team New Zealand Elliott 7s will also be available on the day!
