I was honored to serve as one of your New Hanover County Commissioners for 16 years and I feel that the lessons learned and experiences gained will give me the tools and ability to serve as Wilmington’s next Mayor. Serving at the highest level in local government has given me a comprehensive understanding of the total needs of the entire community with the City of Wilmington being the largest municipality that I represented for 16 years. I’ve outlined my priorities for this campaign as these have been my priorities since first being elected in 2008.
