What does it mean to be a confident dancer?
We designed this class around the question “What does it mean to be a confident dancer? It doesn’t matter if you are new to dancing or have been dancing for a long time, we have all felt a little off or disconnected from ourselves, our partners and the music at one point or another. In this class we will not only be exploring some of the physical basics to partner dancing: balance, spatial awareness, musicality, breathwork, partner connection. But we will also be working to break down some of the barriers that prevent us from really connecting with ourselves, our partners and the music.
So, please join us as we explore the mental and physical techniques that create the beautiful confident connections that we all crave on the dance floor.
WHAT IS BAREFOOT FUSION?
Fusion as a style was created by dancers from many different backgrounds creating a common dance language, so that dancers of all different styles and skill levels can share the floor. It’s partnered, improvisational, and dynamic. Come on out and learn with us, and you’ll be able to connect with music in a new way, gain a more complete understanding of your body, and join a worldwide community of partner dancers.
