Spring planting season is officially coming to a close and the Stream Team has hundreds of bare-roots plants that require potting. We are seeking volunteers to assist us in potting these bare-roots here at the Northwest Stream Center (an environmental learning facility and the headquarters of the Adopt A Stream Foundation).
Once potted these native trees and plants will remain in the care of the Adopt A Stream Foundation in our Native Plant Nursery and Salvage Yard until they are able to be planted beside a salmon stream at one of our restoration sites in the fall.
After the event volunteers can enjoy a complimentary walk along the elevated forest and wetland boardwalk and take in the beauty of the NWSC's interpretive nature trail and Trout Stream Exhibit.
