About this Event
This two-day course is the entry level path for certification on the Event Master Screens Management System hardware and GUI for those who would normally perform the setup and operation of a single or multi-format switcher for small to mid-sized live events that may include blended projection screens.
Description
Topics covered include:
- Event Master platform hardware overview
- Digital video terminology and signal bandwidth capacities
- Event Master Toolset for Single and Multi-Screen applications including Blended Projection Screens
- E2/S3-4K basic setup and operation including Presets and User Keys
- Linking to the EX processor for input and/or output expansion/extension
- ImagePRO-4K standard operation
- Connecting to and mapping the EC-30 controller for basic workflows
- Programming exercises
- Practical and Written Exams (passing grades required to earn certification)
Participants must provide their own laptop computer with the following minimum specifications:
Intel Core i5 or greater with at least 8GB of System RAM
Built-in Display with native resolution 1920x1080 or higher
Windows 10 (or higher) or Mac w/OS X (High Sierra or greater). 1
Built-in RJ-45 Ethernet port (USB to RJ-45 Dongle must be supplied by attendee if not built-in). 2
A full-sized wired or wireless mouse is suggested.
Understanding of basic computer networking and ability to configure the settings on your computer is a must
Target Audience
Audiovisual technicians, technical directors, pre-sales engineers or anyone who have little to no multiformat video switching experience that are looking to learn to set up and operate an Event Master system for 50-350 person events with one to six discrete display outputs.
Prerequisites
It is highly recommended to complete the following two online learnings
- Event Master Basics Training
- Event Master Technical Introduction
Student should have the following:
- Knowledge of single-screen Presentation Switching workflows.
- Basic computer operation and networking experience.
Objective
Students will engage in classroom theory and hands-on activities in order to enhance their understanding of the product line. They will gain the required skills to successfully set up and operate the system for use in basic (breakout room and small general session) event set-ups.
