We’re kicking off the 2026 Backyard Band season with a special birthday-bash edition featuring the incredible Elle Michelle’s Grateful Holler!
This year’s kickoff is extra special as we’ll also be celebrating the birthdays of Elizabeth, Jen, and Emily with friends, music, food, and a beautiful summer evening under the Colorado sky.
Having Elle Michelle play this show is especially meaningful to me. Long before I ever imagined performing music myself, Elle was one of the first people to encourage my journey of learning guitar and singing. She inspired me not only with her talent, but with her story - she only started pursuing music seriously a little over seven years ago, proving it’s never too late to begin something that brings you joy.
Come celebrate great music, great people, and the start of another Backyard Band season. Bring your lawn chairs, dancing shoes, and good vibes!

🎶 Music: 6:00 - 9:00 PM
🎸 Open Jam: 9:00 - 11:00 PM
Bring your instruments, family, friends (+1s welcome), lawn chairs, blankets, and anything else you need to stay cozy on the backyard lawn.
🍴 Food & Drinks
Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. BYOB. Boulder-based drinkLAF will be on site offering complimentary samples.
