The Butte College Fashion Department presents its annual Spring Fashion Show on Friday, May 10, 2024 in the ARTS Theater at Butte College main campus. The title of this year’s fashion show is “Barbenheimer: Irrepressible thoughts about the death of a fashion show.” An interactive show where you can experience the magic, and dare to be immersed in the intoxicatingly stylish tale about two worlds that collide in different yet many similar ways, addressing topics of peace, love, equality, domination and despair. We encourage you to dress circa 1945 or Barbiecore. Showcasing designs from Butte College Fashion students and select local retailers. The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for an exhibit at the art gallery, silent auction bidding and a fashion marketplace where students and participating vendors will be displaying information and/or selling their wares. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Roadrunner Hub, and the Butte College Fashion Club.Tickets are available now for $7 for students, $15 general, and $20 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online through https://buttecollegefashion.ludus.com/, and at the Butte College Office of Arts (Campus Arts Building rm 224, main campus).
