Cool off New Orleans-style at the 5th Annual Barbegazi Snoball Fight, presented by Krewe of Krampus.This one-of-a-kind summer event brings together local krewes, dance groups, and community teams for a friendly competition to see who can create the best snoball flavor in New Orleans.
Guests can sample creations from participating teams, cast votes for their favorites, and enjoy an afternoon filled with creativity, costumes, community spirit and icy treats.
Current 2026 teams include:
* Streetcar Strutters
* Joan of Arc
* Crescent City Fae
* Leijorettes
Additional teams are now forming. Krewes, dance groups, and community organizations interested in participating are encouraged to DM Krewe of Krampus for details.
All proceeds support "Accessibility Row" and the accessibility efforts of One Krewe’s “Parading for All” initiative, helping create more inclusive parade experiences in New Orleans for people with disabilities.
The event will also feature an "Accessibility Resource Area" with organizations and advocates sharing information, services and community resources related to disability inclusion, mobility access, autism support, sensory accessibility and more.
Organizations interested in hosting a table are encouraged to reach out for participation information.
The Barbegazi Snoball Fight offers a uniquely New Orleans summer experience while supporting a more accessible future for parade culture.
