Connoisseurship and Design Thinking- Inspiration for designing the perfect space that will stand the test of time
About this Event

Please join the ICAA NW in welcoming Barbara Sallick, the co-founder of Waterworks, and a noted speaker in the global design community. She is the author of multiple kitchen and bath design books that are the “go-to” books for anyone considering remodeling or designing their kitchen or bath. Barbara will be discussing Connoisseurship and Design Thinking - a beautifully curated visual presentation of dream bathrooms, perfect kitchens and other spaces designed by some of the most talented architects and designers working today.

This lecture will explore everything from the vintage objects and artistry that inform Waterworks fittings to the vital role that time-honored craftsmanship plays in both the company’s designs and how this can apply to everyone’s home. With the help of stunning images, the audience will also be introduced to an array of spaces that celebrate the unexpected and inspire design lovers to bring a magical quality to their homes, no matter how modest or grand.

If you are looking for inspiration for designing the perfect space that will stand the test of time, especially in your kitchen or bath, this is a lecture that can’t be missed.

We will reserve time at the end of her presentation for a Q and A.

Refreshments and appetizers generously donated by the Seattle Design Center.

Barbara Sallick is the co-founder of Waterworks. As a Waterworks spokesperson, she presents design and product lectures across the U.S. and internationally.
