This month’s Fourth Saturday Cleanup is dedicated to the memory of Barb Powell, a cherished member of the Columbus Westside Running Club.
Barb was more than just a runner—she was a friend, a cheerleader, and a constant source of encouragement for everyone around her. To honor her legacy, we will be planting a memorial Tulip Tree and dedicating a plaque in her honor as part of our community cleanup efforts.
🌳 Memorial Tree Planting & Plaque Dedication (Weather Permitting):We will be planting a Tulip Tree in Barb’s honor, and everyone will have the chance to take part in the planting by adding a ceremonial scoop of soil—no heavy digging required, just a simple and meaningful way to contribute to the tribute.
🧤 Cleanup Activity: Help keep our trail clean—gloves and bags provided!
✔ Cleanup supplies will be provided—just wear comfortable clothes.
