It’s a Twosday Tea Party on Make Your Own Sundae Day! We’re celebrating by hosting a sundae making competition at our favorite retro ice cream shop and soda fountain, Tin Roof Dairy!This event will feature two tea talks! One led by our gracious host, and Tin Roof Dairy owner, Mike Yount! Mike will be showing us around the venue and talking about their antique soda fountain and retro installation.
Our last, but not least tea talk will begin at 7PM, led by our special guest and “Bringing History to Life” cohort, Paul Wolter of Sauk County Historical Society! Paul will discuss the history of the building that houses Tin Roof Dairy, which is over 150 years old! The presentation will include the fire of 1871 that cleared out the south side of square in a spectacular blaze.
Help Baraboo Steampunk celebrate the amazing history of our gem of a city, and help support one of our greatest treats of an establishment! We’re bringing history to life at Tin Roof Dairy!
