Bar Olympics 2

Milwaukee Sports and Social is turning the entire Deer District Plaza into our very own Olympic Village! We are partnering with Drink Wisconsinbly, Good City Brewing, The Mecca, The Fiserv Forum, and The New Fashioned to produce an event unlike anything Milwaukee has ever seen!

Your team of superior athletes will compete in Olympic-style events all day! Your team will enter and exit each Olympic Arena while you attempt to accrue as many points as possible throughout the day! The Top 8 teams will later compete in a Flip Cup Tournament to determine the Gold Medal Champions!

Join solo or register with friends as you compete in a night of bar games where the top three teams will go home with actual medals!

ALL TEAMS WILL COMPETE IN THE FOLLOWING GAMES:

Wiffle Ball in the Deer District Plaza!:

We will be constructing 2 full-size Wiffle Ball fields in the Deer District Plaza for teams to compete in a Wiffle Ball competition throughout the day! Each game will consist of 5 innings (or 30 minutes, whichever comes first)! The top teams will be awarded the highest number of points!

[Back by Popular Demand] Water Pong at The Mecca!:

The classic game from your twenties, but bigger than ever! Each team will be able to send 2 teams of 4 into our Water Pong Arena located on the upstairs balcony of The Mecca! Each team will battle through a single-elimination bracket throughout the day! However, this time around, teams will be able to sub players in-and-out throughout the tournament!

Arcade Basketball at Drink Wisconsinbly Pub!:

We couldn't take over the Deer District and not incorporate basketball, right!? We are bringing Milwaukee the classic game found in basement bars across America! Arcade Basketball features two rims on one backboard. Each Bar Olympics team will construct 2 teams of 2 who will hoop together in an attempt to score as many points as possible! The teams who score the most amount of points will rise through the rankings and advance through the single-elimination bracket!

Giant Connect 4 Tournament at The Beer Garden Presented by Insomnia Cookies!:

The Deer District features a gorgeous outdoor Beer Garden. We will be utilizing the full Beer Garden for a Giant Connect 4 Tournament throughout the day! The winner of the tournament will win a prize for their entire team: 9 Free 6-Inch Cookie Cakes from Insomnia Cookies - 1 for Every Teammate - Courtesy of Insomnia Cookies in the Deer District Plaza!

Each team will elect 3 players to represent them in this single-elimination tournament! 72 Olympians will enter. Only 1 will win free cookie cakes for their entire team!

[Back by Popular Demand] Cornhole in the Deer District Plaza!:

It was no surprise that Cornhole was one of the highest rated and most requested sports after Bar Olympics 1. Just like our first Bar Olympics, each team will create 2 pairs of 2 to compete throughout the day in a single-elimination tournament! However, much like Water Pong, teams will be able to sub players in-and-out throughout the tournament in Bar Olympics 2!

All-Team Relay Race in the Deer District Plaza!:

After the inaugural Bar Olympics, players emailed us excitedly suggesting that we should add a full-team relay race competition. We will be using the space in front of the Fiserv Forum gate to create an obstacle course that each team will need to compete! The teams who complete the obstacle course with the fastest times will be awarded the most points!

Ladder Ball at Good City Brewing!:

We are working with Good City Brewing to create a Ladder Ball Arena where teams will compete to score as many points as possible against their opponents!

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME:

After all 7 games are completed, the Top 8 Teams (based on cumulative points) will advance to the final game:

Flip Cup! (Water Edition) at Drink Wisconsinbly Pub!:

The top 8 teams will go head-to-head in a Flip Cup competition unlike anything you've ever seen! The top 3 teams will win Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.
NOTE: The Flip Cup Competition will go an additional hour and end around 7PM.

Tie Breaker Game (in case there is a tie to get into the top-8):

MKE SS Trivia:

Do you love Milwaukee Sports and Social? Good. We love you too. But if there are two teams who are tied for points, we will host a quick Milwaukee Sports and Social Trivia event to see how well you know our company, leagues, and staff!

PLEASE NOTE: While most games will require a drink in hand, players are encouraged to drink responsibly and utilize water in place of alcohol throughout the evening.

All attendees must be 21 or older to participate.

Shirts:
All players will receive a fitted Bar Olympics 2 Team Colored shirt. Sizes Offered: Small - 2XL. All 3XL shirts may be special ordered with a $5 post-purchase fee. The deadline to purchase and submit your shirt size is 5:00PM on Thursday, September 5. All players who have not yet submitted their data will be defaulted to a size XL.
