Brought to you by the Crested Butte Search and Rescue Team, invites you to join us for the 2025 Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour - Friday March 21 & Saturday March 22, 2025 - 7 to 10pm. Doors open at 6:30pm.

This is the 32nd year that CBSAR has brought the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour to Crested Butte!

* Each night's showing will present a different selection of films ranging from outdoor adventure to mountain culture. The first night's showing on Friday, March 21 , features the Quartzite Program. The second night's showing on Saturday, March 22, features the Sandstone Program. See the attached photos and video teaser for a complete list and description of films being shown. Come for both nights to see all the films! Films range in length from 2 to 40+ minutes. This is a fundraising event for Crested Butte Search and Rescue which is an all volunteer organization that relies on your donations to help us keep serving our community.

After expenses, all ticket sales go toward the ongoing operation of the Crested Butte Search and Rescue Team. This is our team's major fundraising event. Thank you for supporting Crested Butte Search and Rescue.

Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour was born from Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival which began in Banff, Alberta. In 1976 a tight-knit group of climbers and outdoor enthusiasts conceived The Banff Festival of Mountaineering Films. This was a one-day gathering that became the renowned international Festival it is today.

Over 30 years ago, Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival began an outreach program to bring the Festival to other communities. This has become known as Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour. The World Tour now reaches over 40 countries and brings mountain films to an audience of over 550,000 worldwide in approximately 550 locations.
