Crocodile River Music, an internationally celebrated ensemble, brings together talented artists from Mali, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Tanzania, and the US. With a deep commitment to connecting audiences with the rich traditions of African music and art, their mission extends beyond performance—they seek to educate and inspire through the power of African cultural expression.The group is diverse in its composition, yet united in its dedication to sharing African music, art, and culture with audiences of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. The Bandwagon Summer Series is a family-friendly outdoor cultural performance series running from May through September. Performances including a diverse group of musical styles will take place at ballfields, farms, and parks throughout Putney, Brattleboro, and Bellows Falls. Kids under 12 always get in for free, and a dedicated play area will be available at all shows. Refreshments are sold onsite, including the return of the hugely popular Barr Hill cocktails, and food from Smokin' Bowls. Bring a picnic and a blanket or fold-up chair to enjoy our concerts.
