Important Info:
The first session of each month will always be dedicated to Film Processing, and the second monthly session will be reserved for Darkroom Printing. Keep this in mind when planning your workshop schedule.
You can mix and match months if needed for up to two complementary sessions. You must purchase additional tickets if you want to take the workshop pairing more than once. Email "[email protected]" with any questions or concerns.
Class Description:
These classes cover the development, proofing, and printing of black-and-white film. The complete experience will take place over two Saturdays from 12 to 4. The first session will cover loading, developing, and proofing film and an introduction to printing.
Pour over your proof sheets at home and return for the second monthly Saturday session for an afternoon of printing with instructor assistance.
Participants are welcome to sign up for one or both sessions.
Participants must come to class with exposed black & white film- 35mm or medium format, and provide their own photo paper, no larger than 11x14.

We will be working in the spacious, ventilated, well-appointed darkroom at Cleveland State University.

About the Instructor:
Hadley K. Conner holds a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art and an MAAE from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. She has been teaching and exhibiting her work for over 30 years and continues to embrace analog in a digital world.
