BANDALOOP: Downstream Work-in-Progress Showing

Join us for this FIRST LOOK at BANDALOOP's new work Downstream as it develops towards its April premiere at the Green Music Center at Sonoma State University.

Downstream is a vertical dance performance bringing together BANDALOOP Artistic Director, Melecio Estrella, and NYC-based composer, Kevin Farrell, in their shared hometown of Rohnert Park, CA on the ancestral land of the Coastal Miwok, Pomo and Wappo.

Reconnecting with a homeland made foreign by the passage of time, Farrell and Estrella will create a sonic and choreographic world where soundscapes of dense urbanity meet and merge with the bucolic expanses of the land of their childhoods.
