Are you a band looking for a new bandmate? Are you a singer or musician looking for a band to join or folks to jam or collaborate with? Join us for FREE Band Speed Dating at Dog House Music Studios.
Meet local musicians and maybe put a new band or project together! If you start talking to folks and you are feeling a connection, sign up for a 20-minute jam session in one of Dog House Music Studios’ THREE rehearsal rooms.
Rehearsal rooms are plug-and-play, and are outfitted with:
• drums
• guitars
• amps
• keyboards
• mics
• PA speakers
Doors open at 6:30PM and the bar will be pouring cocktails, beers, wine and Stem cider, plus some snacks and coffee to help y’all enjoy getting to know each other. All skill levels, instruments, singers, and genres are warmly welcomed! We are a discrimination-free and hate-free zone.
Band Speed Dating is hosted by Rock for the People––a Colorado nonprofit that creates diversity and equity in our local music industry from performers and artists to audio engineers and venues. Our mission is to build an inclusive and equitable music community by removing barriers for musicians, performers, audio engineers, and local music fans from historically underrepresented groups. Because there’s nothing more fun than creating and enjoying music and your life will be better for it!
The End Lafayette at Dog House Music Studios is a cozy 75-person live music venue nestled inside the recording studios of Dog House Music. Our shows are intimate affairs where each guest is invited into the recording studio to experience small batch local live music. Many of the bands and artists on stage have written, rehearsed, and recorded their music right from the studio you'll be standing in! We support and promote Colorado bands and artists who are creating and re-inventing the Colorado music scene, and we invite you into the studio to have a listen!
