Bananas in the Home Landscape

Join a Polk County Master Gardener Volunteer Expert to learn how to grow this popular, tasty fruit in your own backyard! Wouldn't it be fun to harvest your own homegrown bananas? Learn the tips and tricks for successfully raising a delicious crop. Workshop is presented by UF/IFAS Extension Polk County and the City of Lakeland Library.

Additional parking: There is a parking lot behind the Sorosis building next to the library. This building is between the library and the First United Methodist Church.

Note: There is no need to print your ticket. Give us your name at the door and we will check you in electronically. We appreciate all who pre-register as well as those who unregister when they discover they are unable to attend.

Cancellation Policy: Programs, workshops, and events are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not registered. Cancellations will be posted on Eventbrite and an email will be sent to registrants.
