Bananas are easy, fun crops to grow in Northland! Come learn the ins-and-outs of starting and maintaining your banana patch with Ali Robinson at Māra Tui Garden.
Learn about location, fertility, harvest, maintenance and more. Everyone will get a banana pup for free, and then extra will be for sale!
Bring a water bottle, gloves and a hat if it’s sunny. Stay for afternoon tea at the Crop Swap from 3pm - 4pm.
$5 - $10 koha p/p
We are grateful to the Far North Resilient Communities Charitable Trust and the Local BOI-WH Community Board for helping to fund these workshops. All koha received on the day helps to improve facilities at the community garden for everyone's benefit. 🌱🌸🌻
