After the resounding success of our 2025 weekend, THE BAMBOO CLUB returns to a spectacular new venue at Southside in Lincoln for a 2 day special.
FRIDAY night kicks off with our BAMBOO CLUB WARM UP, featuring BILL KEALY, MARK WILSON, VANESSA SONDHEIM, JAKE BONNICI and PHIL ANDERSON for a session of across the board 50s/60s heaven, powered by the mighty SOUNDS AND PRESSURE sound of course. In any other world, this would be a great night in itself. But we’re just getting started!
SATURDAY daytime, we will re-run our daytime market. Last year was a full house, rammed with vintage clothes sellers and some of the best record dealers around. Buyers and sellers all did really well. Plus there are daytime DJs and bar of course keeping everyone in the mood. It’s free to trade, but only by prior agreement with Ed or Phil. Contact us if you want to run a stall.
Then SATURDAY NIGHT comes the main event. CLUB SCORCHER and HOT SHOT R&B across 2 rooms. Check out this lot for a line up. In the HOT SHOT R&B we have STROP, MACE, RUSSELL DEAL, DAVE MUMBLES and our own EDDIE BEBOP. You can see what we’re doing here - every aspect of the R&B scene represented by a DJ at the top of their game. And in CLUB SCORCHER we have the forces of nature known as BRIAN KELSON and PHIL BUSH at the controls. These guys know their business with decades of discovering new tunes and slotting them in with Reggae and Soul classics - Scorcher nights are like nothing else around.
The SOUTHSIDE venue is absolutely fantastic for BAMBOO CLUB. Both rooms with wall-to-wall wooden dance floors and both rooms with their own bars with pump and bottled options. In fact we are arranging to extend the bars because the BAMBOO CLUB cares that much about its audience and knows you’re a thirsty lot! BAMBOO CLUB is all about quality in every department - DJs, sound system, venue.

This was a 100% sell out last year in a big venue and Southside is a similar size, so snooze and you lose. Please don’t leave until last minute because we are not going to be able to pull any strings. BAMBOO CLUB reserves the right to refuse entry.
