An Afro-Indigenous country-roots and blues musician from San Antonio, TX, now based in Nashville, Nicky Diamond draws from old hymn books, family history, and the lived stories of his ancestors to create music that feels both timeless and urgent. With a voice steeped in tradition and a songwriting style that honors the past while speaking boldly in the present, Nicky keeps the roots of country and blues alive—adding his own captivating twist along the way.

Often touring solo with his well-worn 95-year-old Dobro, and occasionally joined by his band The Deepcuts, Nicky’s live shows are raw, powerful, and unforgettable. His latest delta blues album, recorded at Willie Nelson’s studio in Spicewood, Texas, is set for release in Spring 2025—and this Baltimore appearance offers a rare chance to catch him in an intimate honky tonk setting.
