The 12th Baltimore Area Repair Symposium (BARS) will be held at the University of Maryland, SMC Campus Center, 621 W. Lombard St, Baltimore.
Over the past decade, BARS has promised to serve as a platform for showcasing local research in the fields of DNA damage and repair, chromatin remodeling, cellular responses to cytotoxic agents, and their implications for cancer development and treatment.
This in-person event will be held at the SMC Campus Center, located at 621 West Lombard Street in Baltimore, MD, USA. Prepare to be inspired and empowered as you explore the latest repair techniques and discover innovative solutions.
Keynote Speaker
Dr. Alan D. D’Andrea, Director of the Center for DNA Damage and Repair at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, will deliver the keynote address. Dr. D’Andrea is a world-renowned leader in the field, specifically known for his work on the Fanconi Anemia pathway and the role of DNA repair in cancer susceptibility and therapy.
