Learn the classical style and technique of the ballroom that is danced all over the world. Starting with the fundamentals, Suzie teaches the figures, their technique, and the reason behind the techniques that make it easy to dance together comfortably with your partner and to glide as one.
We will learn figures from the I.S.T.D. syllabus each week, with their proper techniques and review how they can be put together on the dance floor.
All will learn both leader and follower parts to completely understand how a dance partnership works through movement. Video summaries and syllabus notes will be provided to facilitate retention throughout the course.
