Experience the vibrant soul of Mexico with Ballet Folklórico del Rio Grande, a premier thirty-member ensemble under the direction of Miguel Peña.Comprised of elite alumni from the nation's only collegiate folklórico dance major at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Ballet Folklórico del Rio Grande brings world-class precision and passion to the stage. Their artistry has graced the most prestigious venues across the globe-from four consecutive years at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to international tours through Italy, France, and Argentina.
From the thunderous footwork of a traditional zapateado to the sweeping colors of regional costumes, this performance is more than a show?it is a breathtaking celebration of life and culture.
