This workshop offers a holistic approach to learning ballet, combining physical training, healthy eating, and community building over four weeks. Whether you're stepping into ballet for the first time or looking to reignite your passion, Ballet Brunch provides the perfect blend of online flexibility and in-person excitement.



Workshop Overview:


October 6th - 20th 2024:

  • Online Ballet Fitness Classes: 3 x 1hr online classes each sunday morning at 11am from October 6 to October 20 before the final in-person event on October 27.


October 27th full day in-studio choreography day + brunch:

  • Ballet Choreography: Led by Joana, an award-winning professional dancer and experienced instructor, this workshop is tailored to accommodate all who have never danced before or have little experience. You'll learn beautiful choreography from Swan Lake in a supportive and welcoming environment. Discover your inner ballerina with Joana’s guidance, helping you feel confident and inspired.


  • Nourishing Vegetarian Lunch and Snacks: Enjoy a wholesome and energising lunch, snacks and herbal teas throughout the day prepared by Sophie, a professional chef specialising in functional food and naturopathic medicine focussed on supporting woman’s health. The vegetarian dishes are crafted to delight your taste buds and support your body, keeping you fueled for the day’s activities.


  • Memorable Moments Captured: Throughout the day, we’ll be capturing the joy and elegance of your ballet journey with professional photos. Each participant will receive these photos as a keepsake to remember this special experience.


  • Community Building: Ballet Brunch is more than just a ballet workshop; it’s a chance to connect with other adult learners who share your passion for movement and holistic wellbeing.

Ballet Brunch celebrates creativity as a path to wellness, bringing women together through the expressive power of ballet, art, and food. For those who believe in nurturing their well-being by embracing art and movement as forms of self-expression, while creating nourishing, soul-enriching dishes. It’s a space where creativity flourishes—through graceful movement, artistic expression, and food that fuels both body and spirit.

We believe in an inclusive, accessible approach to health—one that's grounded in authenticity and genuine connection. Our workshops and retreats are designed for those who have always admired the grace and beauty of ballet but, for one reason or another, never had the chance to pursue it. Through the elegance of ballet, we create a space for you to reconnect with your inner child, rediscover your passion, and heal through movement, creativity, and self-expression.

You'll immerse yourself in graceful choreography, while also gaining valuable insights into how to properly nourish your body to support your mind, body, and spirit. Our workshop places a special emphasis on women's wellness, focusing on anti-inflammatory meals and balanced blood sugar, key components in promoting overall health and vitality. By learning to fuel your body with these nourishing, supportive meals, you'll enhance both your physical performance and well-being, creating a holistic approach to self-care.
