Concert dedicated to the memory of Dr. Christopher Parr
Joining Maestro Héctor Guzmán and the PSO for this very special concert is the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, one of the most exciting ballet companies in the country, performing a beautiful pas de deux from Swan Lake as well as Ravel’s sensuous Boléro, with choreography by Susan Jaffe.
We will also feature a world premiere by Robert Xavier Rodríguez who Texas Monthly has called “one of the major American composers of his generation.”
This incredible evening of music will include PSO Concertmaster Elisabeth Adkins performing Concerto for Violin and Orchestra by S. Barber.
Special thanks to Tammy and Charles Miller, Margot Perot, The City of Plano, NEA, TCA, Retirement Planners of America, and The Dallas Morning News for their support.
