The Ballard Historical Society is proud to bring back the Ballard Tweed Ride, taking place Saturday, Oct 5th, 2024. We'll be busting out our retro bikes and best vintage tweeds for a lovely fall ride from the Ballard Bell Tower to Golden Gardens. We'll gather for a photo together at the tower starting at 9:45am. Promptly at 10:00, we'll depart on a leisurely bike ride to the beautiful shores at Golden Gardens. There we'll enjoy a delightful tea party w/ light snacks & take in the sea breeze. After a spell, we'll meander back into downtown Ballard. Some may choose an optional casual no-host, post-ride bite (availability permitting) at Hattie's Hat. All participants a recommended to wear a helmet for the active ride portion of the event.
Disclaimer-All participants agree to hold Ballard Historical Society board, trustees and members harmless & participate at their own risk. Please arrive with ample time prior to departure in order to fill out a hold harmless agreement in person with BHS representatives.
