Ball for Black Girls Basketball Tournament

Black Boston will be hosting Ball for Black Girls, a basketball tournament to spread awareness on the ongoing crisis of missing Black girls and violence towards Black women and girls broadly. The money raised will go to funeral costs, hospital bills, legal services, etc as a part of our new Family fund. Black Boston Boost Black Girls Campaign all of which will support Black women and girls.

The tournament will take place at Almont Park from 11 AM ET to 6 PM ET. During the tournament, there will also be Black owned businesses where you can purchase items as well as food. If you would like to make a monetary donation, please reach out to us via email or make a payment via Donor Box or Paypal. Further, if you'd like to showcase your business also reach out to us to see how you can reserve a spot. The cost of entry is $10 per person, in person it is $12. To attend, please purchase your ticket online and present it at the door on the day of the event. Though tickets may be sold on the day of the event at the door, seats will be sold on a first come first served basis and ticket availability day-of is not guaranteed.

-High school boys

-High school girls

-College aged/18+ men

-College aged/18+ women

Ticket sales: $10 on Eventbrite, $12 at the door

Team sign ups: $100 per team
