Kids will learn about the physics of balance and have fun at the same time through multiple hands-on activities.
Balance occurs when weight is evenly distributed so that an object remains upright or steady. We'll learn about the scientific principles related to balance - stability, center of mass, and balancing points, through hands-on activities. These activities range from playing with balancing toys, to creating balancing sculptures, to balancing using our bodies. Watch your kids learn about an elemental physics principle and have fun at the same time!
This program is intended for kids ages 8-11, and 4-7 with an adult.
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
