Let’s make 2025 the year of growth, connection, and success.
Many people have asked why I’m putting on these networking events.
When I go to a networking event, I want to feel comfortable knowing that the people I talk to genuinely want to help—not just sell me something. I don’t always want to be pressured into joining a membership. Sometimes, I just want to be there, take in the environment, and make new connections without feeling like I'm on the defensive.
There are a few major things I aim for each time I attend a networking event: I like to explore venues I haven’t been to before, or those that have been updated recently. I want to support my fellow business people and either learn something new from the experts giving presentations or be the one offering insights through my own presentations—often on leadership or the people element of business.
Most importantly, I want to make meaningful connections, to dive deeper than just the usual "Hi, what do you do?" I want to understand why they do what they do and figure out how I can support them. It’s not always about making a sale—though of course, sales are great—it’s about educating, building trust, and showing how I can truly benefit businesses.
That’s why these events are built around four core values:
- Mastery Through Curiosity: My networking events are designed to foster learning and improvement. By creating a space where professionals can connect, share knowledge, and challenge each other, I’m encouraging the pursuit of new ideas and perspectives, which drives personal and business growth.
- Transparency Breeds Trust: In my events, I aim to create an environment where open, honest communication is encouraged. By promoting clear communication and authentic connections, I build a foundation of trust among participants, which is key to effective networking and long-term business relationships.
- Compassion in Action: My events are people-centered, focused on empathy and support. I’m helping business owners and professionals not only expand their network but also build a supportive community that values collaboration over competition.
- Courage to Be Genuine: My networking events encourage participants to bring their authentic selves. This creates psychological safety, allowing individuals to connect on a deeper level and form meaningful relationships that go beyond business transactions.
By integrating these values into the core purpose of my networking events, I’m not just facilitating connections; I’m building a community that aligns with the principles that matter to me and my business.
