Finley School District is exploring a balanced calendar. (Learn more at www.finleysd.org/district/balanced-calendar) Finley school parents/guardians are invited to learn more about
the balanced calendar proposal and share your feedback during one of our community forums (Wednesday, May 8th or Monday, May 13th). Both forums will take place at 6 PM at the River View High School commons.
Like a traditional calendar, a balanced calendar has the same number of school days (180). The difference is how the breaks are spread throughout the year. Instead of concentrating 180 school days into nine months, a balanced calendar spreads those 180 days throughout the year.
